Black Americans have been “free” in the USA for SIGNIFICANTLY LESS time than we were enslaved in the USA.
146 years of “freedom”, 250 YEARS of slavery. 1865 is when I draw the line in the sand.
My Mom was born 71 years ago, my Dad was born 73 years ago. When I do the math, I see that my Mom was born only 75 years AFTER the end of slavery and my Dad was born 73 years...
